Muratie is a very popular wine farm in Stellenbosch which gives the bohemain feel. The Muratie was founded in the year 1685.

It’s the first wine farm to make the pinot noir. The muratie’s tasting room is filled with cobwebs and old paintings to give nostalgic feeling.

The Muratie Wine kitchen offers authentic South African cuisne with nice wine suggestions to mathc them. There’s also a specail menu for kids.

Blaauwklippen Stellenbosch Wine farm

It’s the oldest wine farm in South Africa as it was established in 1682.

A range of reds and whites, plus rosé, cap classique, a rare zinfandel (also used to make the unique Zin Gin), potstill brandy and an apéretif. The classic tasting includes five wines; there are also wine pairings with macarons, chocolate and fudge.

Quin Rocks Stellenbosch Wine Farm

There’s no way you can mention the top wine farms in Stellenbosch and omit the magnificent Quin Rocks.
Initially owned by South Africans, it was bought by a Ukranian Gaiduk Family in 2012 and remolded to fit modern taste.

There are different types of wines at Quin rocks and some of them are (Reds, Whites, Cap Classique and a husk spirit.

A sommelier-led tasting of five wines is offered, in the Wine Lounge (with glass walls looking into the cellar) or on the expansive terrace. Oysters, charcuterie or cheese platters are available.
